General facts

Lors d'une réunion à Paris de la Société internationale d'hydrologie, le problème du rhumatisme a retenu l'attention, et il a été décidé de constituer un Comité international pour la lutte contre le rhumatisme. En 1928, ce Comité fut dissous et remplacé par la Ligue actuelle, lors de la session tenue à Pumphouse à Bath (Angleterre). Congrès internationaux tenus à Liège 1930, Paris 1932, Moscou 1934. Le prochain congrès se tiendra à Lund (Suède) en 1936. (HB 1936) At a meeting of the International Hydrological Society, held in Paris, the problem of rheumatism was discussed and the setting up of an International Committee against Rheumatism was decided upon. This Committee was dissolved, and the present League set up in its place, at a meeting held at Bath (United Kingdom) in 1928. International congresses have been held at Liege (1930), Paris (1932), Moscow (1934), and at Lund (Sweden) in 1936. (HB 1938)
