Etudier les maux qui menancent l'enfant dans son développement physique, moral et intellectuel, en rechercher les causes et trouver les moyens de les prévenir et de les combattre; étudier toutes les questions se rapportant à l'enseignement de la médecine préventive de l'enfance, à la formation et au perfectionnement technique des médecins pédiatres, ainsi qu'à leur collaboration en vue de prévenir les maux qui menacent l'enfant.
