Object

To form a centre for information and liason between national medical associations in order that each may profit by the experience of the others in studying the numerous professional problems which affect the private and social life of the practitioner. These problems fall into three classes: (a) relations between the practitioner and the State, municipalities, etc., in the organisation of social medicine; (b) the same in regard to social hygiene; (c) relations between practitioners themselves. (HB 1929) Former un centre d'information et de liaison entre les associations médicales nationales afin que chacun profite de l'expérience des autres dans l'étude des nombreux problèmes professionnels intéressant la vie privée et sociale des médecins praticiens. Ces problèmes sont de trois espèces différentes : a) relation entre le praticien et l'Etat, les municipalités, etc., dans l'organisation de la médecine sociale; b) de même en ce qui concerne l'hygiène sociale; c) relations entre les praticiens eux-mêmes. Finances

Recettes : Cotisation annuelle de 20 centimes suisses par membre jusqu'à 10.000; 10 centimes au-dessus jusqu'à un maximum de 3.000 francs suisses, par an. Activities

Annual sessions of the General Council, consisting of the correspondents in the various countries. Eleven international enquiries have so far been held, of which eight have been concluded and have been dealt with in a general survey, with tables. (HB 1936) Various international enquiries each year; up to the present about forty have been held since the foundation of the A.P.I.M.; annual session of the General Council, in a European capital. The results of the enquiries are discussed and a rapporteur presents a report for each. International conclusions are adopted by vote. (HB 1938)
