à l'issue du Congrès international des vins et liqueurs, réuni à Paris en 1900 à l'occasion de l'Exposition universelle, i l fut décidé qu'un groupement permanent serait créé ayant le même objet. On lui donne le nom de Comité international des vins, spiritueux et liqueurs. At the close of the International Vintners' Congress held in Paris in 1900 at the World Exhibition, it was decided that a permanent body should be formed.
