Object

Le but de l'Internationale est le relèvement de la situation économique et sociale des mineurs. Elle base son action économique et sociale sur les principes chrétiens et, répudiant toute lutte de classes, elle s'efforce d'obtenir les réformes nécessaires par la force de l'organisation et suivant les voies légales. Elle veut en particulier : a) défendre les intérêts des fédérations affiliées par l'influence prise dans l'organisation internationale du travail et la législation, notamment en ce qui concerne les mineurs ; b) soutenir énergiquement l'action des fédérations affiliées ; c) exercer le plus d'influence possible sur le mouvement, international des mineurs, notamment par la fondation de fédérations-sœurs dans les pays où il n'en existe pas encore ; d) amener à l'Internationale toutes les organisations-sœurs déjà existantes, qui n'y auraient pas encore adhéré. On the basis of Christian principles, and repudiating the class-war, the Federation endeavours to bring about necessary reforms in economic and social life by organised and lawful methods. Finances

Cotisations des membres. Chaque fédération paie par an et par membre 1/10 du salaire payé dans son pays pour une heure de travail. Income: members' subscriptions ; each affiliated federation is required to pay an amount equal to one-tenth of an hour's wages per member per annum. (HB 1929) Recettes: Cotisations des membres, chaque fédération affiliée doit, par semestre et par membre, la valeur d'un vingtième d'une heure de travail. Réunion préparatoire à Salzbourg les 10 et 11 avril 1921, suivie de plusieurs réunions du bureau provisoire. The preparatory work for the foundation of the Federation was done at the Salzburg meeting in 1921 ; the actual foundation took place at the Innsbruck Congress, 1922. The Federation has since held two congresses — one at Geneva, where it got into touch with the International Labour Office (1925), and the other at Munich (1928). Un bulletin d'information profesionnellé mensuel en deux langues : allemand et français. A Review is published once or twice every quarter in French and German, Bulletin d'Information, Mitteilungsblatt. En outre, le secrétariat envoie aux diverses organisations affiliées des rapports généraux ou confidentiels sur l'industrie minière des différents pays. Ces rapports ne sont pas publiés. Moreover the Secretariat forwards to the various affiliated organisations general or confidential reports on the mining industry in the various countries. These reports are not published. (HB 1938)
