Set up by the Treaty of Paris of March 30th, 1856, confirmed by the Treaties of Peace which put an end to the war of 1914-1918, and by the Convention of Paris instituting the Statute of the Danube, dated July 23rd, 1921. (HB 1929) Créée par le Traité de Paris du 30 mars 1856, confirmée par les traités de paix qui ont mis fin à la guerre de 1914-1918 et par la Convention de Paris, en date du 23 juillet 1921, instituant le statut du Danube. (HB 1936) Set up by the Treaty of Paris of March 30th, 1856, confirmed by the Treaties of Peace which put end to the war of 1914-1918, and by the Convention of Paris instituting the Statute of the Danube, dated July 23rd, 1921. Acts in complete independence of territorial authority. Its competence extends from Braila to the sea, jurisdiction over the sector Galatz-Braila forming the subject of a modus vivendi dated June 25th, 1933.
