Reconstituée en 1919 par le Comité météorologique international. A la réunion du Comité météorologique à Londres en 1921, il fut décidé d'unir les deux commissions (pour le Réseau mondial et de la Météorologie polaire) et d'en former une seule. The Committee has held meetings at Monaco in 1909, in London in 1921 ("Report of the Eleventh Ordinary Meeting of the International Meteorological Committee, London, 1921 ", M.0. 248), at Zurich in 1926 ("Report of the Commissions for Terrestrial Magnetism and Atmospheric Electricity, and for the Rdseau Mondial, M.0. 296), at Copenhagen in 1929 (Proceedings of the International Conference of Directors, of the International Meteorological Committee and of various committees at Copenhagen, September 1929) (Publication No. 3 of the Secretariat of the International Meteorological Organisation) and at Warsaw in 1935 (Proceedings of the International Conference of Directors of the International Meteorological Committee, App. III.
