Object

Créer un lien de confraternité entre les grandes fédérations de tir de toutes les nations amies: 1° En établissant entre-elles des rapports permanents pour l'échange de leurs idées en vue du développement de leurs oeuvres; 2° En assurant l'invitation régulière et la participation de toutes les nations adhérentes aux grandes fêtes et manifestations internationales de tir; 3° En dirigeant et soutenant les matches internationaux existant depuis 1897; 4° En prenant toutes les mesures de nature à établir et resserrer entre les tireurs les relations de bonne camaraderie fondées pour chacun sur l'amour de sa patrie et le respect de celle des autres. Finances

La Fédération à laquelle appartient le Président assure les frais d'administration. Elle peut solliciter à cet effet une cotisation de 100 francs (HB 1923: 500 francs) de chaque association adhérente. The Federation to which the Chairman belongs bears the cost of administration. For this purpose, it may ask for a maximum subscription of 500 francs from each of the adhering associations. (HB 1929)

General facts

Le dernier numéro de l'ancienne « Union internationale de Tir» qui a paru le 30 août 1915 annonçait la dissolution de l'Union internationale. A Paris, le 15 mars 1921, les sociétés nationales de tir d'Angleterre, Belgique, Espagne, États-Unis, France, Grèce, Italie, Monaco, Pays-Bas, Pologne, Portugal, Suisse et Tchécoslovaquie adhérèrent à la nouvelle fédération et constituèrent le bureau. L'Union a son siège au siège de la fédération à laquelle appartient son président en exercice. Il est fixé actuellement à Paris.
