Object

HB 1936: Favoriser le progrès de la statistique administrative et scientifique, en recher-. chant et en recommandant les méthodes propres à obtenir l'uniformité dans les cadres et dans le dépouillement des relevés de la statistique, afin de rendre comparables les résultats obtenus dans les différents pays; en faisant des publications internationales et en établissant des rapports permanents entre les statisticiens de tous les pays; en concourant à propager les notions de statistiques et à intéresser les hommes d'Etat et les savants à l'étude numérique des faits sociaux. To stimulate the development of administrative and scientific statistics by seeking and recommending the best methods of securing uniformity in the structure and analysis of statistical returns, in order to render the results obtained in the different countries comparable; by issuing international publications and establishing permanent relations between statisticians of all countries; by assisting in the propagation of statistical principles and interesting statesmen and scientists in the numerical study of social facts.
